The Formlabs Roadshow is hitting London on Wednesday July 17th and Simply Rhino are pleased to announce we’ll be hosting two events at the Goldsmiths’ Centre.

 

Formlabs is traveling to industry hubs across the world to celebrate the capabilities of 3D printing in digital manufacturing.  They’re bringing together local innovators to discuss how leveraging 3D printing is creating new business opportunities. Morning Session | Jewellery Focus:

Our first session will be dedicated to the Jewellery Industry. This session is suitable for Jewellers using all 3D CAD software options including 3Design, Matrix, Rhino and ZBrush.

This event is perfect for those looking to explore the very latest innovations in 3D Print for Casting and Prototype production.

Join us for breakfast, presentations, conversations and expert demonstrations.

Product Design and the appropriate use of Technology | Product Designer Phil Cook looks at how 3D modelling software such as Rhino and SolidWorks plus rapid prototyping technologies such as the Form2 printer can be used alongside ‘traditional’ working methods for an efficient design and cost-effective design workflow.

Phil is the principal of Form Foundry, a Cheshire based Industrial Design Consultancy and has over thirty years of professional experience.
